Dear Bolin Family, Please let me express my deepest sympathy in the loss of your wife/mother Bonnie. I will always fondly remember her as such a fun and positive person. She was one of those teachers who were the backbone of Harlem schools, and will be missed by so many...both teachers and students alike. May you find comfort in all your wonderful memories.

We are sorry we've lost Bonnie so prematurely. She helped me when I first came to Rock Cut, and I've always enjoyed her sense of humor, her common sense, and, of course, her solid Democratic soul. That was an extension of her desire to help everyone achieve a good life, a quality she manifested in her career as well. Condolences.

I was surprised and saddened to see that Bonnie had passed away. Bonnie was one of the first teachers I taught with at the beginning of my teaching career at Rock Cut. She was very friendly, and I enjoyed the three years that we taught together very much! She was always fun and got our day off to a great start in the teacher lounge! My deepest sympathy to you and yours. You are in my prayers for comfort and strength in the days ahead. Peace to her memory.

My thoughts and prayers go out to the Bolin Family, on the loss of Bonnie. I have known Bonnie for many years, through a mutual friend, Helen Girton, who is also deceased, and I also had a foster child at Rock Cut Elementry School. Bonnie helped me very much with her, and she was a dear friend. She will be dearly missed! Sandy Berg
