When we had the Smith reunion I always looked forward to seeing Beverly as she was so much fun. She and my brother, Bill Burke, had some great times together. I was one of the younger ones but she always had time to talk to me as well as make me feel good.

Dear Robert and Richard Lindsey & Family,
As a 6th grader at Summerdale School in 1955, I recall both your parents and was saddened to read of their passings.
I remember seeing your Mother as a sparkling young mother sometimes wearing a long swinging pony tail with you two as little boys in tow. When I saw Mrs. Lindsey's smile in the memorial picture, I knew who she was before seeing her name. So fun to read of her white water rafting in Alaska at age 82. We raised our children on Adak & in Anchorage where we lived for 45+ years. As a teenager our son was a white river raft guide on the Nenana River out of Healy.
Your Dad I so appreciated as a serious teacher who my classmates and I respected because we learned so much from him. He also had a wonderful sense of humor. On Fridays we took Weekly Reader tests; scary only if we were unprepared. Another great memory was the Research Question handout when we could use any available resource. I loved going to the Main downtown library & using the card catalog.
May you receive comfort from Psalm 34: 18 as I have when my close family members have passed. It reads: "The Lord is close to the brokenhearted and saves those who are crushed in spirit."
Wishing you daily sunshine from within, Serena Shores Partch, Anacortes, WA
