Kenneth J. Reid

Kenneth J. Reid, 73, of Roscoe passed away Wednesday, February 17, 2016. Born December 9, 1942 in Chicago to John and Doris (Hazelwood) Reid. Married Gerry Dvorak on November 6, 2004 in Rockton. Ken enjoyed golfing with his sons, travelling, going to movies, and riding his Goldwing. He loved his dog Barney and his horses, especially Magic. Most of all, he enjoyed spending time with family, especially his grandchildren.

Survivors include wife, Gerry Reid of Roscoe; sons, Kevin (Kristin) Reid of New Braunfels, TX, Kyle (Maura) Reid of Rolling Meadows, IL, Jason (Jaime Shen) Reid of San Francisco, CA; grandchildren, Jackson, Katie, Teagen, Baylen, Breslen, Rylen; brother, Glenn (Dianne) Reid; sister-in-law, Marilyn Reid; nieces and nephews, Kim, Brandon, Laura, and John. Predeceased by parents; and brother, Bob Reid.

Memorial visitation will be held from 1:00 p.m. – 3:30 p.m. Sunday, February 21, 2016 in Honquest Family Funeral Homes with Crematory – Roscoe Chapel, 11342 Main Street, Roscoe. In lieu of flowers memorials may be given to the American Diabetes Association at www.diabetes.org or to the Leukemia and Lymphoma Society at www.lls.org.
