Jimmy D. Kincade, Sr.

Jimmy D. Kincade, Sr., 69, of Stillman Valley, IL passed away on Saturday, November 19, 2016 after a short and courageous battle with a rare form of brain cancer.  Born July 11, 1947 in Pocahontas, Arkansas to Stanley and Mildred (Pruett) Kincade.  He moved to Illinois as a young boy with his family.  He worked with his father at the famous Kincade's APCO in Rockford. He then retired from Rock River Ford.  He later met the love of his life, Sandy Wheeler.  The two wed in 1971 and went on to raise a family of three children.

Jimmy loved hunting, fishing, anything having to do with the great outdoors. He especially loved spending time with his family in Stillman Valley.  He also loved going up to his property in Northern Wisconsin, getting together and playing horseshoes or playing guitars and singing.  Jim was all about good times with family and friends as well.  There was no one more caring, loving or giving than Jimmy Kincade.  He will be missed beyond what any words could possibly say.

He is survived by his wife, Sandy; children, Kerry (Malcolm) Fling, Jimmy (Terra) Kincade and Keely (Kevin) Zunker; grandchildren, Taylor Jasmine, Dalyn Jacob, Payton Jean, Shaylynn Marie, Kyle Robert and Benjamin Michael; sisters, Judy Kincade of Ft. Myers, FL and Brenda Kincade of Washington State; a huge extended family with brothers and sisters-in-law as well as many, many nieces and nephews all over the United States.  Predeceased by parents and Sharon Beauford.

There will be a Celebration of Life starting at 5:00pm on Saturday, December 3, 2016 at the Fraternal Order of Eagles (Eagle's Club), 3829 - 11th Street, Rockford 61109.  In lieu of flowers, memorials may be made to the family.  Please share your memories or condolences at honquestfh.com.
