To the family of Roy and Joan --- we have so many fond memories of our friendship with Roy and Joan. I could fill his entire space with their acts of kindness and generosity to us. We first met in 1986 when Roy "passed the baton" of teaching the Young Marrieds Class at First Assembly to me. (Many will remember that class later became "Solid Rock"). Rarely have we encountered such warmth, care, humor, spunk, generosity, faith, intelligence, fun and giving as in the person of Roy Hardy. Time and time again over the years he and Joan encouraged and strengthened in our lives -- by their words and by their actions. December 1 must have been a joyful reunion. Two lives we will cherish forever. And, by God's grace, see again.
