I was saddened to read of Bob's passing. I knew him years ago, at the old National Lock Co. facility on Seventh street. I was his supervisor there for a few years and knew him as a hard-working, diligent and friendly young man. I felt we had a friendship as well along with our working relationship. This world and his family and friends have lost a good man. My sincere prayers are with the family. God bless you.

Carol and Family-
My deepest sympathy to you all. Bob was a great person to work with for 9 years ... and a great friend. His hard work and professionalism was an example for everyone here. Seeing him come into work when he felt so bad, with Carol by his side...that was truly inspirational. I always loved hearing about all his travels and talking to him about sports. He could tell such a great story. He made the people around him feel good. Bob left a positive mark on this Earth and It's comforting to know that he is at peace, now.

Dear Ones, our hearts are heavy and we are so very sorry you have lost dear Bob. It is hard to find words that will comfort. Our wonderful God Jehovah will be the true source of all comfort as you lean on him in the coming days and weeks.

It seems we have known you always. Carol as you and Bob learned to love each other, and then marry. Kathryn came along and you three served Jehovah as a united and happy family. Cherish these memories, let them warm your hearts when you are sad. We will also cherish our memories of Bob, his wonderful public speaking ability, his "wry" humor, and his beaming smile at the last Circuit Assembly. He was so happy to be there, and we were just as happy to see him. He was an outstanding example of a spiritual man, we will miss him.

Oh, Carol! I know you've had time (with Bob's prolonged illness) to grieve the inevitable, but when the Enemy Death finally hits, it's still overwhelmingly difficult. One day they are there, the next day they are not---some days, out of nowhere, the thought is strange.
I am so sorry for another loss with your mother and now your husband, yet thankful they died faithful and are now in God's memory for the "real life" to come. What a grand reunion that will be when Jehovah awakens them to a peaceful world and you will see them both in perfect health!
I met Bob when I was a teenager, through a friend attending East congregation, and together we would hang out with him at the Stanfa house or elsewhere. He was always very nice, genuine, easy to talk to and spiritually-minded, a good example for us. He was busy in his service to Jehovah no matter what was going on in his personal life. It was obvious he continued to grow in his love for Jehovah and continued to mature in his spirituality. Occasionally I would also see you and Bob at the Kingdom Hall meetings when I was visiting my mom from Colorado. I heard and witnessed what a fine elder he was. And you always looked happy, so he must have been a fine husband and father! I'm glad you have loving memories of him in those roles and I'm sure the congregation will greatly miss his gifts as a shepherd.
For now, remember the God of Comfort Jehovah who will wrap you with consolation and strength to help you to endure until "death will be no more". Let the congregation too embrace you with love and warmth on those days when you need a little emotional boost or just plain fun and conversation!
My thoughts and prayers are with you.
Love to you and your family.
