Rachel Marie Smith

Rachel Marie Smith, 41, of Rockford passed away Monday, January 9, 2017. Born June 2, 1975 in Rockford to John and Terri Lynn (Reid) Teasdale. Married Michael P. Smith May 21, 1998 in Rockford. Rachel enjoyed camping, walking in the woods, spending time with her grandchildren, and drinking coffee and visiting with friends and family.

Survivors include husband, Michael P. Smith; children, Johnathan Reid, Heather Smith, Skylar Smith, Brendan Smith; grandchildren, Kieyona Mclin, Adrian Reid, Axel Reid, Yzayla Banks; parents, John and Terri Lynn Teasdale; father and mother-in-law, Donna and Leo Martin; sisters, Candace Teasdale, Kristin Teasdale; and several nieces and nephews. Predeceased by daughter, Allison Paige.

Memorial service will be held at 5:00 p.m. Friday, January 13, 2017 in Kishwaukee Street Church of Christ, 3227 Kishwaukee Street, Rockford with a visitation from 3:00 p.m. until time of service. Memorials may be given to the family.
