I am so sorry to hear of Jim's passing. I haven't seen him since high school but many happy memories of his smiling face. Especially at dances where we liked to dance together. I have lived out of town for many years. My sympathy to all of his friends and family

Our thoughts and prayers are with the Clancy family. I have so many fond memories of my many times enjoying life with Jim. From our years together at Guilford, to the start of our college careers together at NIU, walking out of Fairview Lanes wearing our rented bowling shoes...only to chicken out later & take them back, the road trips in my bright orange 1962 Triumph Herald down to St. Louis to buy M-80s & bottle rockets always hoping we'd get behind some big semis so we could draft above my usual 50 mph top end, and taking that car with Fred Swanberg, Jim & I to the 1969 Summerfest rock concert in Milwaukee where we were handed fliers about another bigger rock concert coming in 3 weeks to a place called Woodstock (the 3 of us actually planned our route, the camping spots we'd use getting us there & back, and what we were going to pack...only to realize at the 11th hour that we didn't have enough money to go), and then buying the little home that Jim & his wife lived in at 1804 Ridgeland Avenue as my first house. Jim was a great guy who loved life, his family & his many friends. He will be missed.

So sorry for your loss. Jim was a great guy & the best man in our wedding. Had not had a chance to see him very often after I took a job out of town but I always kept up with him thru facebook. My job also prevents me from making it to the services. I will be there in spirit. Much love &condolences to the whole family! Daryl & Shorty
