My condolences to the Zurawski family. I worked with George who was my sergeant for many years until I myself made sergeant & George retired. He was a GR8 boss, fellow worker & friend.

Dear Mary Ann, Roxanne, Wendy and familes,

All of us send you our heart felt sympathy for your loss. We remember George's smile and his willingness always to help his "girls" (including all the Girl Scouts!!) in those early years in Roscoe. He retired when you moved there, but stayed so active! Our thoughts are with you and our hope for comfort in good memories.

My sympathy to the Mary Ann and the family. I remember the last time I saw George. Bob and I were taking a drive while Grandma Radak was enjoying her time with the grandchildren and we ended up towards Rockford and decided to go the distance as we heard George was working as a greeter in, I believe, the Walmart. Sure enough he was working the day we were up there and we had a nice visit as he was handing out stickers to the children - sometimes a whole strip to the child! He may have acted tough at times but he was a marshmallow on the inside. I'm sure he and Bob are reminiscing right about now. Regards, Madalyn Radak
