Frank J. Fester

Frank J. Fester, 51, of Rockford, passed away Tuesday, August 23, 2016. He was born on January 21, 1965 in Elgin, Illinois to Walter and Barbara (Carlson) Fester. Frank loved baseball, especially the Cubs. He also enjoyed watching the Bears. Frank was all about making memories. He enjoyed camping, hiking, going to air shows and especially loved the Holidays. He was humble, loyal, and cared for people. 

Survivors include his son, Nicholas Fester; step-sons, Justin and Ryan Waisner; brothers, Wally (Jen) Fester and Chuck (Tonya) Fester, sister, Susan McNamara; special niece and nephew, Jessica and Jerred; special friend, Tom McNamara. Predeceased by his parents.

A funeral service will be held on Saturday, August 27, 2016 at 4:00 p.m. in Honquest Family Funeral Homes with Crematory, 4311 N. Mulford Road, Loves Park, with Pastor Anthony Maynard officiating. Visitation will be from 3:00 p.m. until time of service. Memorial Contributions can be made to the family for his children's trust fund.
