I was one of Eric's bus leaders on the 2012 Vets Roll trip to Washington D.C. He was such a joy to have with us, and sat right up front with us the whole trip. I saw him multiple times over the past four years at various things, and we would catch up on each other's lives. His smile lit up a room, and his positive attitude was contagious. He loved talking about his many children and grandchildren, and was proud of his big family. I am grateful for the chance to have met and known Eric, and will always remember him fondly. After assisting on 4 years of VR trips, he still stands out as one of my absolute favorites. My sincere condolences to all of you, his family..... May he rest in peace, and may you always feel his presence with you!

Ii want to say what a wonderful "Dad" you have been for me. Losing mine so young, it was wonderful to have a dad to share with and get opinions, and advice from. You raised, for me, a son you could be proud of, as he has been so good and has the great character you instilled into him. You passed a wonderful legacy. I love being included into your family. I love you dad, May Jesus show you all the wonderful streets of gold and the Mansion he has made Just FOR You. I will forever miss you, and glad knowing I will see you again, on the other side of that Glorious River. Say Hello to my daddy, my Grandparents and Ivar too!
