Beverly A. Tucker

Beverly A. Tucker, 82, of Rockford,  went to heaven to be with the "love of her life", Joe "Slippy" Zammuto after suffering an anaplastic Astrocytoma on Saturday, September 16, 2017. She was born on November 19, 1934 in Baraboo, Wisconsin to Lawrence and Gladyse (Henke) Ott.

Survivors include her children, Rick (Cindy) Tucker and Robin (Larry) Prentice; grandchild, Rick (Jazz) Tucker; great-grandchildren, Quest and Nevaeh Tucker, Kyler and Kaitlynn Prentice and Charlotte and Mason Kirschbaum; nieces and nephews, Debbie, Vernie, Vicki, Karen, Bonnie, Toni, Terry, Richard, Rosalie, Jerry, Mary Lynn, Geraldine, Jerry, Frank and Tressa; many great nieces, nephews and cousins from the Ott and Zammuto sides of the family; sister-in-law, Rosalie Arbisi; brother-in-law, Frank (Carol) Zammuto; friends, Pat Scadden and Iggy and Rose Rondone. Predeceased by her parents; siblings, LaVern Ott, Donna DiGuiseppi and Shirley Fritz; her love, Joe Zammuto; nephew, John Fritz. 

A memorial service will be held on Saturday, September 30, 2017 at 2:00 p.m. in Beth Eden United Methodist Church, 3201 Huffman Blvd., Rockford, Illinois 61103 with visitation from 12:30 p.m. until time of service. Cremation rites have been accorded by Honquest Family Funeral Homes with Crematory, Mulford Chapel. Special thanks for OSF St. Anthony Hospice for their wonderful care. In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions can be made to OSF St. Anthony Hospice or to the family for a memorial to be determined at a later date.
