Robert Maxwell Ucker

Robert “Bob” M. Ucker, 66, of Rockford passed away peacefully on Sunday, May 22, 2016. He was born in Rockford, February 9, 1950, to Helen and Sam Stanfa. Bob had a happy childhood, raised by his parents and spending time with grandparents, John and Mary Yasko, and Uncle Mick and Aunt Evie. He married Carol Sinclair on September 4, 1982. Bob worked hard at everything he did, had a great sense of humor, and always put family first. He was the best loyal and loving husband. A selfless caring father to daughters, Stacy Corbin, Kathryn (Daryl) Sharp; and granddaughter, Samantha Ishee. Bob shared a lifetime of happy memories with his beloved sister, Jeanne (Joe) Woodman; and brother, Michael (Angie) Stanfa. Also he had many treasured memories travelling with his family and extended family. He worked at Frank Boucher Automotive in Janesville, but Bob’s passion was serving his God, Jehovah, and helping others to gain and grow in their relationship with our Creator. He enjoyed serving as a shepherd in the Christian Congregation of Jehovah’s Witnesses. He was dearly loved.

A visitation will be held from 1:30 p.m. – 2:30 p.m. Saturday, May 28, 2016 in the Kingdom Hall of Jehovah’s Witnesses, 1905 South Mulford Rd., Rockford, with a memorial service immediately following the visitation. Memorials may be given to Christian Congregation of Jehovah’s Witnesses.
