Richard Ostenson

Richard "Rich" L. Ostenson, 64, of Machesney Park, passed away on Thursday, October 19, 2017 surrounded by his family.  Born in Beloit, WI on May 19, 1953 to Marvin and Mavis (Magnussen) Ostenson.  Rich enjoyed flower gardening, painting ceramics, Southwestern culture and meeting new people.

Survived by his father, Marvin; sisters, Lynn (Jim) Bosze and Sandy (Matt) Stevens; godson, Josh; nieces and nephews, Torrie (Ryan), Tracy (Chad), Johnathan, Kasi, Erica and Kayla.  Predeceased by his mother and two brothers.

Funeral service will be at 11:00am with a visitation from 10:00 until the service on Wednesday, October 25, 2017 in Honquest Family Funeral Home with Crematory, 11342 Main Street, Roscoe.  Burial in Floral Lawns Cemetery, South Beloit.  In lieu of flowers, memorials to the family.
