Mildred Marie Patnou

Mildred Marie Patnou, 92, of Rockford passed away Monday, May 16, 2016.  Born May 15, 1924 in Rochelle, the daughter of James and Edna (Peterson) Tighe. Married to Leo N. Patnou for 72 years; he predeceased her November 18, 2012.

Survivors include children, Linda (Ron) Hornbeck, Vicki (Calvin) Wright, Timothy (Cathy) Patnou; 9 grandchildren; 16 great grandchildren; and 5 great great grandchildren. Predeceased by parents; husband; grandson, Jacob Patnou; and 4 siblings.

Funeral service will be held at 12:00 p.m. Thursday, May 19, 2016 in Honquest Family Funeral Homes with Crematory – Mulford Chapel, 4311 N. Mulford Road, Loves Park with Pastor Wendell Maynard officiating. Burial in Sunset Memorial Gardens. Visitation will be held from 11:00 a.m. until time of service Thursday in the funeral home.
