Marilyn A. Congleton, 75, of Rockford passed away Friday, April 22, 2016. Born May 21, 1940 in Eagle River, WI to Henry J. and Bessie (Lalumondier) Byington. Married Vernon C. Congleton on September 6, 1958 in Eagle River, WI. Previously employed as a CNA by Fairhaven Christian Retirement Center.

Survivors include daughter, Heidi (Robert) Diaz of Rockford; sons, Robert (Lisa) Congleton of Rockford, Ken (Jennifer Narewski) Congleton of Medina, OH, Darren Congleton of San Clemente, CA; grandchildren, Deborah (Sam) Mateika, Melissa (Brian) Parrett, Kathryn Diaz, Jahdzia Diaz, Brittany Congleton, Bella Congleton, Alexandra Congleton, Aidan Congleton, Benjamin Congleton, Carter Congleton, Mercedes Congleton; 5 great grandchildren; brother, Clark (Judy) Byington, Keith (Fran) Byington; sister, Joyce Koski; and special friends, Mike, Betty Jo, and Doug. Predeceased by husband; brother, Richard Byington; and sister, Jean Becker.

Private family services will be held in Eagle River, WI where Marilyn will be laid to rest next to her husband.
