Imogene Davidson Czarnikow, 81, of Rockford, went peacefully home to Heaven May 21, 2017 surrounded by her loving family in her home. Born January 26, 1936 in Corning, Arkansas to Dennis and Carolyn (Harpole) Davidson.
She is survived by her twin, Maxine (Paul) Lewis; son, Steven Shickles; daughters, Donna (Don) Disch, Renee (Charles) Bonavia, Stacey (Bill) Kearney; 11 grandchildren; 7 great-grandchildren; numerous nieces and nephews; as well as her beloved cat, Princess. Predeceased by her parents, two sons, Scotty and Brian Shickles; brothers, Gerald and Huey Davidson; sisters, Pearl Putman and Earnestine Walters.

A private family service will be held on Friday, May 26, 2017 at 3:00 p.m. in Honquest Family Funeral Homes with Crematory, Mulford Chapel, 4311 N. Mulford Rd. Loves Park, Illinois with Vicky Rine officiating. A memorial visitation will be held at 2:00 p.m. until time of service. Entombment will be in the Chapel of Peace Mausoleum, Sunset Memorial Gardens, 8800 N. Alpine Rd., Machesney Park.
