Ed was one cool guy. He was my Inspiration to be a foster parent. I know it must have been hard growing up in the foster care system when he did. I thought he was so cool. I wanted to tell him that I found out my great grandma was half black foot Indian. We had something in common after all. I salute you.

I cannot believe that you are really gone. I was still looking for you in the house today. You were one tough guy. Through this illness you still made sure that we were all ok. I feel that I am one of the lucky ones----I had two great parents. You have taught me so much about life. Live life to its fullest. That was your motto. Thanks for being a great dad, husband and grandpa.

Please give Mom and Daron a kiss for me.

Until we meet again.
Love and miss you.

We feel so honored to have known Ed. He was such a genuine man. There was never a time you could be in his appearance and not feel his love and warmth of concern. If you were sad or having a bad day it wouldn't be long he would have you smiling and laughing. Prayers for the whole family, sending healing strength for all your days and nights ahead. Let your love for one another fill the voids in your hearts.

Words Cannot describe how much I already miss you Grandpa. You were my Grandpa, Best Friend, and Father to me. Anytime I ever had a problem you were there for me. Always had my back no matter if I was wrong or right. Even though grandma would tell me it was time for me to go to bed when I was younger you would let me stay up just so we could play a couple games of rummy. I always say I wasn't spoiled but who I am kidding. When I wanted to race you jumped right to it. Never missed a single sporting event I ever had. You kept my head up while I was in the Army. All the times you would take me up to Michigan where you grew up. Still don't think it was a good idea to go on the ice with a dump truck though. There is so much more i want to say but will say it another day. I love you Grandpa and will forever miss you until I see you again.
