Barbara D. Greenland

Barbara D. Greenland, 84, of Rockford, passed away Tuesday, July 26, 2016, at home. Born July 4, 1932 in Rockford, Illinois, the daughter of Raymond and Lily (Boline) Carlson. Barbara married Rollin C. Greenland on September 15, 1951. Barbara was an active member of Alpine Lutheran Church since 1964. 

She is survived by her husband, Rollin; sons, David (Cleo) Greenland of Rockford, Charles (Kathleen) Greenland of Roscoe, John (Terri) Greenland of Rockford, and Paul (Tracey) Greenland of Machesney Park; grandchildren, Kara (Ryan) Good of Louisville, KY, Elizabeth (Mark) Wallen of Waukesha, WI, Heidi (Joel) Flowers of Beloit, WI, Taylor Greenland, Nicholas Greenland, Addison Greenland and Aron Greenland, all of Rockford; great-grandson, Kristopher Wallen of Waukesha, WI; great-granddaughter, Ruby Good of Louisville, KY; sisters, Anne Isabelli of Rockford and Harriet Carlson of Rockford; nephew, Mark Isabelli of North Carolina; cousins, Lynette Milane of Rockford and Peter Boline of Rockford. 

A memorial service will be held Saturday, August 6, 2016 at 11:00 a.m. in Alpine Lutheran Church with Pastor Dan Wynard of Alpine officiating. A visitation will be from 9:30 a.m. until time of service. In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions can be made to Alpine Lutheran Church Bell Choir, Alpine Lutheran Boy Scouts of America Troop 57 or Northern Illinois Hospice.
