William “Doug” Wuestenfeld Obituary

William “Doug” Wuestenfeld, 79, of Roscoe IL, passed away Tuesday, November 2, 2021. A maintenance worker before retiring in 2000 and avid shooting enthusiast including past IL State Champion in 45 cal pistol and 30 cal rifle competitions.

Beloved husband of Krystyna; loving father of Michael (Tina) Wuestenfeld, Jacqueline (Robert) Pullman, Bradley (Kristin) Wuestenfeld; plus step-father to Krystyna’s children Sabina and Łukasz, and grandfather of seven.

Immediate family visitation was on November 5 at Honquest Family Funeral Home with Crematory in Loves Park IL, after which he was cremated. The memorial for Doug will be a Celebration of Life Party with family and friends in the next few weeks with details and invitations TBD. In lieu of flowers or gifts, the family requests friends and family instead consider making a donation to the NRA (National Rifle Association) in Doug’s name to support gun rights and the freedom to bare arms.
