William P. Woodward

William P. Woodward, 86, of Roscoe, passed away on November 26, 2024. Woody was born in Texas, the son of Francis Edith (Orlough) Woodward. Woody married his beloved wife, Karen Woodward. He was a Navy Officer and worked for General Dynamics. He retired with Navy Honors after 27 years of active duty. He loved his friends and family and always brought a smile to everyone he knew. 

Woody is survived his son, Jerry and his beautiful wife Donna Woodward; daughter, Elaine Kelly; and his grandsons, Ryan Woodward, Tristan Woodward, David Kelly, Marcus Proctor, Malik Woods and Max Matz.

Woody is with our father Jesus Christ and his one true love, Karen.

Funeral service will be held at 11:00am on Thursday, December 5, 2024 in Hope Evangelical Free Church, 5656 Elevator Rd., Roscoe, IL with a visitation from 10:00am until the time of the service. Burial will be in Roscoe Cemetery.
