Wayne Christ Molitor

Wayne Christ Molitor, 70, of Roscoe, passed away Wednesday, August 28, 2019. He was born on January 25, 1949 in Richmond Village, MN to Leonard and Dorothy (Hilsgen) Molitor. Wayne started his career as a carpenter and worked his way up, starting his own contracting business, W. Molitor. Wayne enjoyed spending time in nature, especially fishing, deer hunting and morel mushroom hunting. He also had a passion for cooking. 

Survivors include Michele; his children, Danielle (Larry) Vance and Brett (Cara) Molitor; grandson, Vincent Christ Molitor; brother, Maynard (Nora) Molitor; sisters, Erma Hulsey, Alice Molitor and Joyce Tucker; dogs, Reebee and Duke. Predeceased by his parents; brothers, Christ and Delbert Molitor. 

A memorial service will be held on Wednesday, September 4, 2019 at 7:00 p.m. in Honquest Family Funeral Homes with Crematory, Mulford Chapel, 4311 N. Mulford Rd., Loves Park, IL 61111 with Pastor Ken Krause officiating. Visitation will be held from 6:00 p.m. until time of service. In lieu of flowers memorial contributions can be made to William S. Middleton Memorial Veterans Hospital, Madison, Wisconsin.
