Wayne L. Heavlin, Jr.

Wayne L. Heavlin Jr., of Rockford, passed away March 16, 2020 in his home. He was born in Rockford on October 15, 1949 to Wayne and Betty (Campbell ) Heavlin. Wayne graduated Auburn high school 1968. Wayne was in sales most of his life. He enjoyed working in the yard, working with wood, and fishing. He had a special bond with his dog, Max. Married Bernadine (Siepp) Prock in 1966 and they divorce and after 20 yrs were reunited. 

Survivors include the love of his life, Bernadine Prock; 3 sons, Wayne (Sherry) Heavlin III, Simon Heavlin of Florida and James Collard; Step-son, Jonathan (Stephanie) Prock; Brother, John Heavlin; sister, Linda Heavlin; 5 grandchildren and 3 great-grandchildren.

Predeceased by father, mother, sister, Julie Salyers, and son, Jacob W. Heavlin and his best buddy, Max.
