Virginia Michaelson Obituary

Virginia R. Michaelson, 89, of Rockford passed away on Sunday, April 11, 2021. Born October 30, 1931 in West Allis, Wisconsin to William C. and Grace Burkart. Married Kenneth W. Michaelson June 3, 1950 in Crystal Falls, Michigan. Employed as an aide at Lincoln Junior High School in Rockford. Virginia was a member at Peace Evangelical Lutheran Church where she was a member of the Guardian Angels.

Survivors include children, Kenneth C. (Kathy) Michaelson, Robin (Alan) Bacino-Schuler, Cathy (Tim) Feehan, Julie (Lonnie) Householder, Steven Michaelson, William Michaelson; numerous grandchildren, great-grandchildren, and great-great grandchildren. Predeceased by parents, husband, grandsons; brothers, Robert, Thomas, and William; sisters, Mabel, Marie, and Lorraine.

Special thanks to daughter Robin and husband Alan, for taking Virginia into their home.

No services will be held but a Celebration of Life will be held at a later date.
