Tresa Denise Bumgardner

Tresa Denise Bumgardner of High Point, North Carolina, passed away on July 9, 2024, at the age of 57. Born to William T. Bacon, Jr. and Evelyn Marvel on December 8, 1966, in Pontiac, Michigan.  She will be deeply missed by those who knew her.  Family was extremely important to Tresa. She deeply cherished those memories, including the various “family traditions.”   Tresa worked at Snyder in High Point, North Carolina, where she developed a strong bond with her friends and coworkers. 

Tresa is survived by her boyfriend, Jack Marchetti; three children, Jami (Doug) Knautz, James Tennant and Tyler Bumgardner; grandchildren, Ryah Tennant, Janelle Knautz, Sophia Salinas Tennant, Nathan Salinas Tennant and Jameson Knautz; sisters, Patricia (Holly) Bacon, Melissa Drew and Rita Miller; brothers, William (Tammy) Bacon, III, Jerry (Megan) Dunn and Chris (Kendra) Bacon; and numerous nieces, nephews, and additional family members.  Tresa is predeceased by her parents; husband, James E. Tennant; son, Jeremy Tennant; brother, Terry Bacon; and sister, Carol Leeper-Hopping. 

Service will be Tuesday, July 16, 2024 at 12:30pm in Honquest Family Funeral Home with Crematory-Mulford Chapel, 4311 N. Mulford Road, Loves Park, IL 61111. Visitation will be from 10:30am until services, Tuesday in the funeral home.  She will be laid to rest at Mt. Olive Cemetery in Braidwood, Illinois on Wednesday, July 17, 2024 at 11:00am.
