Theodore "Ted" Esser Obituary

Theodore “Ted” Esser, 93, of Rockton died Saturday, May 1, 2021. Born in Chicago, the son of Maximilian and Grace (Hansen) Esser. A veteran of the United States Army, he graduated with a degree in civil engineering from the University of Illinois, and worked for Harza Engineering Company from 1952 to 1980. A loving husband, father, and grandfather who shared his love of the outdoors, camping and Superior National Forest.

He is survived by sons, Richard (Cheryl), Robert, and John (Mary Ellen) Esser; and grandchildren, Nolan (Sara), Brian, Alan, Theodore (Christine), and Samantha Esser. Predeceased by his parents; his loving wife, Charlotte; brothers, Richard, Robert, Jack, and Donald Esser; and son, Daniel Esser. The family would like to thank Beloit Regional Hospice and NorthPointe Terrace for their compassionate care.

Per Ted’s wishes, no services were held.
