Theodore Maggio, Sr. Obituary

Ted C. Maggio, Sr., 89, of Rockford passed away July 2, 2024 after a long illness. He was born June 27, 1935 in Rockford, the son of Phillip and Katherine (Johnson) Maggio. Ted married Elena Landi; the two met at a blind convention in New York in 1961 and were married in Rockford, Illinois in 1962 . He was self employed as a piano tuner and technician for over 40 years. Ted enjoyed reading books, listening to baseball games and in his later years he enjoyed cooking.

Ted is survived by his son, Ted Maggio, Jr.; granddaughter, Victoria Maggio; and great-granddaughter, Katherine Maggio. Predeceased by his wife, Elena and his parents.
