Teresa Landis Obituary

Teresa Landis, 58, of Rockford, passed away suddenly on July 29, 2018. Teresa was born in Rockford on April 20, 1960, daughter of Anthony and Adele Lamia. Teresa married Russell Landis on August 1, 1981 in Rockford. Teresa was an RN at Rockford Health Systems for over 25 years. She loved going to Cheap Trick concerts and visiting Sicily to see her family. Teresa collected guitar picks, concert set lists, band posters and other music related items but the thing she took pride in collecting were sock monkeys. Her greatest gifts were her two sons, Christopher and Matthew.

Teresa is survived by her husband, Russell; sons, Christopher (Jacqueline) and Matthew; brothers-in-law; sisters-in-law; nieces; nephews and cousin. Predeceased by her parents, Anthony and Adele Lamia; granddaughter, Sophia Justine Landis.

The family would like to thank all of their family members, friends, and neighbors for all of their love and care given to Teresa.
