Steve Edwards passed away on Monday, May 4, surrounded by his loved ones.
Steve found joy in the simple and beautiful moments of life. Photography was his true passion; through his lens, he captured not only images but the feeling of a moment, the stillness of nature, and the changing light of day. He also found great fulfillment in giving back to the photography community by sharing his knowledge and passion at the Beloit Art Center, where he served for several years as a board member.
He spent years working at Warner Lambert and continued through its transition to Mondelez International, retiring in 2020. He enjoyed his work and deeply valued the relationships he built at the factory.
Steve is survived by his loving girlfriend, Sandy; his daughters, Morgan and McKenzie (Bailey); his son, Vaughan (Hannah); and his beloved grandchildren, Brady and Nora, all of whom will miss him dearly.
His family would like to extend their sincere gratitude to Mo Cara Hospice, especially his compassionate nurses, Sara and Julia. They also wish to thank Pete and Penny Edwards for their comfort and care during his final days.
A Celebration of Life will be held at a later date.
