Shirley Ann Schubert

Shirley Ann Schubert, 63, of Rockford, Illinois, passed away peacefully at home on Thursday, June 11, 2026. She was born on July 23, 1962, in Rockford, Illinois, to George J. Schubert and Dorothy A. (Jordan) Schubert.

Shirley graduated from Thomas Jefferson High School in 1981. She found her greatest joy in spending time with her family and friends and cherished the memories they created together. In her free time, she enjoyed attending church services and playing bingo.

She is survived by her loving boyfriend, Robert Wells Jr.; her children, Sarah (Robert) Schnell and Joe (Maria) Edmonson; her grandchildren, Matthew Hallman, Ryan Edmonson, and Paige Schoon; her cousin, Margy Mcbride; as well as many extended family members and dear friends.  She was preceded in death by her parents, George J. Schubert and Dorothy A. Schubert; and by her beloved aunt and uncle.

Shirley will be remembered for the love she shared with those closest to her, her kind heart, and the special moments she spent with family and friends. Her memory will be cherished by all who knew and loved her.

Cremation rites will be accorded.
