Sheri L. Krizek, 66, of Roscoe, passed away peacefully in her home August 7, 2022 after 9 days of hospice care. She was born in Norwalk, Connecticut April 1, 1956, graduated from Barrington High School, and attended Northern IL University. She married Tony Krizek on July 28, 1979 forty-three years ago. She worked many different types of jobs during her life but was mostly interested in art such as painting, stained glass, jewelry design, and card making. She enjoyed skiing, sailing, camping, socializing, cooking, crocheting, and her Yorkshire Terrier, Sparkle. As a cancer survivor, Sheri supported several support groups: WOCA (Wisconsin Ovarian Cancer Alliance), NOCC Midwest (National Ovarian Cancer Coalition), Fried Eggs Group (Madison, WI), and St. Peregrines Cancer Support Group (Rockford, IL). In lieu of flowers please donate to a cancer support group.
Sheri is survived by her husband, Tony Krizek; brother, George (Donica) Fox, III and their kids, Mitchell Fox, Jamie Fox and Nicole (Zachery) Kron; sister, Darlene (Tim) Fulkerson and their daughter, Harmony. Predeceased by her parents, George L. and Dorothy R. (Norton) Fox, Jr. and sister, Gwendolyn J. Bowers.
A celebration of life will be held at 11:00am with a visitation from 10:00am to 11:00am on Thursday, August 11, 2022 in Honquest Family Funeral Home, 11342 Main St., Roscoe, IL 61073.
