Sharon L. Grosch

Sharon Lynn Grosch, 63, of Roscoe, passed away on Wednesday, December 27, 2023. She was born in Rockford, IL on April 11, 1960 to Robert and Darlene (Hocking) Bergeron.  She married Tim Grosch on August 13, 1993 in Roscoe.  She received her GED later in life after having to drop out of school to help with her younger brothers when her mother died when she was 12 years old.

She had various employers and positions throughout her life including medical billing at Apria Healthcare, medical records at Fair Oaks Nursing Home and secretary at Forshay Development and K & H Exteriors.  Sharon enjoyed reading, cross stitch, collecting hummingbird things and buttons.

She is survived by her husband of 30 years, Tim Grosch of Roscoe; step-son, Jeff Grosch of Roscoe; dog, Ruby; cat, Annie; sisters, Nancy Saunders of Beloit, WI, sister-in-law, Kathy Bergeron of Machesney Park; brothers, David (Jina) Bergeron of Roscoe, Greg (Lisa) Bergeron of Loves Park, Gary (Carlene) Bergeron of Roscoe, John (Deanne) Bergeron of Roscoe, Mike Bergeron of Beloit, Jeff Bergeron of Beloit and Tim (Michelle) Bergeron of Rockton.  She is predeceased by her parents; step-son, Joel Grosch; brothers, Kevin Bergeron of Roscoe, Bruce Bergeron of Roscoe, Robert Bergeron of Machesney Park and Dennis Bergeron of Roscoe.

A celebration of life will be held on Saturday, January 27, 2023, from 12:00PM - 4:00 PM, at The Roscoe VFW, 11385 2nd St., Roscoe, IL 61073.
