Scott H. Christiansen, 72, of Rockford, made his final journey home to his Savior on Saturday, January 24, 2026. He was born on March 20, 1953, in Rockford.
He was preceded in death by his sons, Matthew and Symon; parents, Chris and Pat; brother, Tom; grandparents, Esther, Joel, Hans, and Violet; and uncles, Dick and Robert.
He was a beloved husband to Kathy; father to Megan; and grandfather to Merrick and Cooper. He is survived by his brothers, Tim (JoAnn) and James (Noreen); and sisters, Amy (Keith) and Candy (Tom).
In life, he was a true man of integrity who left a lasting legacy during his time in public service. A lifelong member of Alpine Lutheran Church, he was an advocate for Alpine Academy and served on the Lutheran School Board at large. He was an avid Chicago Bears and Rockford IceHogs fan.
He will be greatly missed by his family and friends.
An inurnment service will be held in the spring at Arlington Memorial Park, Rockford. Memorials to the family.
