Salvatore J. Giangrosso

Salvatore “Sam” Giangrosso, 78, of Roscoe, passed away peacefully at home on April 15, 2024, with his family by his side. He was married 52 years to wife, Geri Giangrosso.  They were introduced to each other by cousins Pete and Paula in 1971. Sam was a graduate of West High Class of 1965, and received an associates degree from Rock Valley College. He worked for W A Whitney and Barber Colman for 41 years and retired in 2007.  Sam enjoyed history, racing, and cars (Corvettes).

Survived by wife, Geri; children, Edward (Hana) and Andrew (Aimee); grandchildren, Enzo, Isabella, Juliana, and Anthony; sister, Grace (Pete); brother and sister-in-law, Paul and Micki; nieces and nephews, Lori, Tom, Nicole, Penny, Lisa, and Beth. Predeceased by parents, Angelo and Frances.

Memorial service will be at 11:00 AM on Tuesday, April 23, 2024 in Honquest Family Funeral Homes with Crematory - Roscoe Chapel, 11342 Main Street, Roscoe, IL, with a memorial visitation from 10:00 AM until the time of the service.
