Sally A. Geary

Sally A. Geary, passed away on January 28, 2023 peacefully in her home with her daughters and granddaughters by her side. Sally was born October 8, 1937 in Winnebago County, daughter of Bridget R. Furman and Sydney Furman. She worked for many years raising 3 children until she married the love of her life, Thomas Geary. Sally worked for Rockford Mercantile, Amcore Bank and Blackhawk Bank where she made many friends. She enjoyed bowling, playing cards, Diet Coke, Chicago Cubs, Chicago Bears, Notre Dame football, along with spending time with her family who she loved dearly. Sally loved playing with her great grandkids and shopping with whomever wished to take her.

Sally is survived by her two daughters, Brenda Juhlin (Joe Gagliano), Kimberly Henning (Kevin); and one son, Doug (Karrie) Juhlin; 3 granddaughters, Mandi (Justin) Plock, Sara (John) Larson, Abbie (Andrew) Meinert; 2 grandsons, Austin and Drake; 7 great grandkids, Makenzi, Savanna, Jett, Jack and Lilian; one sister, Mary Jean Stewart; one special niece, Pam (Bobby) Schlitching; and her very best friend and maid of honor, Donna (Edward) Froeliger.  Predeceased in death by spouse, Thomas J. Geary.

Celebration of life will be held from from 1:00 PM - 3:00 PM Sunday, February 5, 2023 in the Loves Park VFW, 2018 Windsor Road, Loves Park.
