Rosemary McLeod

Rosemary McLeod, 73, of Rockford passed away May 5, 2022. Born in Pittsburg, PA the daughter of Stanley Vincent and Mary Elizabeth (Balardi) Wawzensky. Married Donald D. McLeod on September 12, 1970 in Lawrenceville/Pittsburg, PA. Rosemary was employed as a bookkeeper by McLeod Studio’s, Spangler Engineering and Atwood. She loved game shows, crossword puzzles, music and most of all, spending time with her family.

Survivors include husband, Donald D. McLeod; children, Kevin (Raquel) McLeod, Mary McLeod Wynn; grandchildren, Collin McLeod; siblings, Jim Wawzensky, Kimberly (Roger) Ekman; and several nieces and nephews. Predeceased by parents; and siblings, Larry, Gloria and Linda.

Memorial service will be held at 5:00 PM Thursday, May 12, 2022 in Honquest Family Funeral Home with Crematory – Mulford Chapel, 4311 N. Mulford Road, Loves Park with a visitation from 4:00 PM until time of service. In lieu of flowers memorials may be given to the Rockford Rescue Mission or to Disabled American Veterans.
