Ronald "Ron" Williams

Ronald “Ron” Williams, 75, of Loves Park, IL passed away on April 27, 2025, after a long illness with family by his side. Born in Rockford, IL, to his parents, Balis and Antonia (Leon) Williams on June 12, 1949. Ron married the love of his life, Doris James, on July 26, 1969, in Rockford, IL and they spent many years creating wonderful memories.

Ron worked for Elco and retired after 30+ years of hard work; he then retired from Brynolf Manufacturing after 6 years. Ron had a passion for attending Car and Toy shows. He enjoyed collecting die cast cars and was very proud of his collection.

Ron is survived by his wife, Doris Williams; children, Cathy (Chris) Barker and Christy (Bryan) Lindbeck; grandchildren, Austin, Caitlin, and Ayden Lindbeck; nephew, Don (Alice) Hastings; best friend and co-pilot, Molly the dog.  Predeceased by his parents, Balis and Antonia Williams; siblings, Marie Jacobson and Jerry Williams; nephew, Tom Hastings.

The family would like to give a special thank you to Rebecca C. at St. Anthony Neuro ICU for the care she gave to Ron.

A celebration of life will be held on Friday, May 2, 2025, at Honquest Family Funeral Home with Crematory - Mulford Chapel, 4311 N. Mulford Rd., Loves Park, IL, 61111, from 5:00 PM to 7:00 PM. Cremation rites will be accorded.
