Roger D. Brekhus

Roger Dean Brekhus, 75, passed away on October 18, 2024 in Rockford, IL. Born on July 7, 1949, Roger dedicated years of service to the US Navy before embarking on a significant career at Cessna Aircraft and later retiring form Sundstrand.

Roger is survived by his loving wife, Judy; sons, Jason and Jon; brother, Jerry (Betty) Brekhus; sister, Lois (Roger) Parkinson. Predeceased by his parents, Lloyd and Beatrice Brekhus.

A proud alumnus of the University of North Dakota, Roger's life was marked by a commitment to excellence and service. Beyond his professional and military life, he found his joy in fishing, a hobby that provided him with many peaceful moments and joyous memories. 

Roger's life was one of dedication, whether to his country, his work, or his family, and his legacy will live on in the hearts of those who knew him.

As per Roger's request no funeral or memorial service will be held.
