Roger Allen Obituary

Roger K. Allen, 90, of South Beloit, IL, passed away on May 10, 2023. He was born on October 26, 1933, in Rockford to Lester and Hazel Allen. He was a graduate of Rockford schools and was in the Navy Reserve for 8 years. He was a Shriner for 53 years and a member of the Moose for 45 years. He was the owner of Village Cleaners. Roger spent 3 months in the winter in Arizona for over 22 years. He enjoyed spending time with friends and family and going to the casino.

Survivors include his children, David (Connie), Randall and Rodney Allen, and Valerie Jones; grandchildren, David, Bryant and Heather Allen, Chris Peters, Mark Gregory, Ryan, Aaron and Dustin Jones; great-grandchildren, Owen and Riley Jones; sister, Jane Brogren; and nieces and nephews. He was predeceased by his parents, Lester and Hazel and sisters, Donna Sheatz and Joan Carlson.
