Rodrigo Martinez, III Obituary

Rodrigo "Roy" Martínez, III, 42, of Rockford, IL, passed away peacefully at home on October 17, 2025. He was born on December 29, 1982, in Chicago, Illinois.

Roy was known for his love of fishing and playing pool, hobbies that brought him joy and relaxation throughout his life.

He is survived by his father, Rodrigo Martínez, Jr.; his mother, Ana Ivette Bou; and stepfather, Hector Cruz Ortiz; his sisters, Yelitza, Kennyliz, Hetmarie, and Ana Iveliz; and his brothers, Hector Felipe, Faiz, and Alexander. He also leaves behind his beloved nieces and nephews, James Omar, Lee Yadier, Lee Omar, Efrain, Rayhanis, Liannys, Amaïah, Jeanalee, and Olivia.
