Robert "Bud" L. LaBree

Robert "Bud" L. LaBree, 89, of Roscoe, passed away Tuesday, July 20, 2021. He was born on June 27, 1932 in Hematite, Missouri. Bud was a Sargeant First Class in the United States Army. He served in the Korean War and was a Purple Heart recipient. He married Sylvia Fischer on October 12, 1957, in Piggott, Arkansas. Bud was the proud owner and operator of LaBree Concrete. He enjoyed feeding his animals, working in his yard, and his daily trips to Panera Bread for his coffee. Bud also enjoyed participating in the VetsRoll. 

Survivors include his wife, Sylvia LaBree; sons, Robert "Beaver", Paul and Mike "Mean Mike" LaBree; grandchildren, Josh LaBree, Danielle LaBree, Codi LaBree, Lesley Tish Jr. and Sammy Tish and great-grandchildren, Layla LaBree and Austin Tish. Predeceased by his parents; daughter, Lisa LaBree and his dog and best friend, Tyson.

Memorial service will be held at 1:00 pm, Saturday, April 16, 2022, in Honquest Family Funeral Home with Crematory - Roscoe Chapel, 11342 Main Street, Roscoe with a memorial visitation from 12:00 pm until the time of service. Graveside burial immediately following in Floral Lawn Memorial Gardens, South Beloit. A luncheon to follow at the Rockton American Legion.
