Robert B. Haas

Robert B. Haas, 83, of Machesney Park, IL, passed away on Monday, June 10, 2024.  He was born in Rice Lake, WI, on November 4, 1940, to Theodore and Doris (Clifton) Haas.  He married Mary Ellen Hesseling in 1965 and then Brenda Kay Edge in 1981.  He served in the United States Army and retired from Chrysler Corporation. 

He is survived by his son, Tim Haas; daughter, Robyn (Michael) Koehler; step-son, Troy (Kim) Johnson; grandchildren, Michael (Christine Escobar) Haas, Christopher Haas, Chynna (Sara Eder) Haas-Koehler; brother, Ted, Jr. "Dick" (Corrine) Haas; nieces, Debbie Walter and Cheryl (Mark Buckbee) Haas; nephew, Jeff Haas; sisters-in-law, Nancy Haas and Alanna (Richard) Scott; brother-in-law, Mark (Debbie) Edge; and special canine baby girl, Kelsey. 

Predeceased by his wife, Brenda Haas; parents; sister, Ramona (Marvin) Walter; brother, Ronald Haas; daughter-in-law, Tori Haas; mother of his children, Mary Ellen Haas-Lewis; and many special dogs.

The family would like to thank special friends, Heidi Gossett and Jeff Green and his family, for all the help that they gave.

Memorial service will be at 11:00am with a memorial visitation from 10:00am until the service on Friday, June 28, 2024 in Honquest Family Funeral Home with Crematory-Mulford Chapel, 4311 N. Mulford Road, Loves Park, IL 61111.
