Richard Pann Obituary

Richard Eugene Pann, 82, of Roscoe passed away September 7, 2024. He was born in Beloit, Wisconsin, the son of Harold and Marion (Schollmeyer) Pann. He grew up on the family farm. He married Edna Osberg in 1963 and they had two sons; Richard and Douglas. He married Susan Tucker in 1996. He was employed as a machine mechanic at Fairbanks, Ingersoll, General Mills. He enjoyed hunting, camping, traveling, football, cars, drag racing and wintering at their home in Arizona. He will be remembered for his laugh, twinkling blue eyes and love of visiting with friends. He found joy in sharing his mechanic and woodworking skills with family, friends and Obi.

He is survived by his wife, Susan Tucker Pann; children, Richard (Barb) Pann,  Douglas (Jenna) Pann and step-daughter, Tammy Tucker; siblings, Harold (Bobbie) Pann, Henry (Susie) Pann, Carol (Larry) Knoll, Kathy Pann (Sue Reese), William (Terry) Pann and Shari (Pete) Mentele; six grandchildren, and numerous relatives and friends. Predeceased by his parents, Harold and Marion (Schollmeyer) Pann; wife, Edna Osberg Pann; daughter in law, Patty Pann and beloved friends, Paul Rea and John Schick.

Visitation will be 5:00 PM - 7:00 PM Thursday, September 12, 2024 in Honquest Funeral Home, Roscoe Chapel - 11342 Main Street. A  Mass of Christian Burial will be held Friday, September 13, 2024 at 10:00 AM in St. Thomas the Apostle Church, 822 E. Grand Ave., Beloit, Wisconsin, 53511. Burial will take place at 2:00 PM in Roscoe Cemetery, Roscoe, IL.
