Raymond E. Breese

Raymond "Ray" or "Jr." E. Breese, 80, of Machesney Park, IL, passed away with family by his side on November 27, 2024.  He was born in McMinnville, Oregon, on January 9, 1944.  He attended school in Richland Center, Wisconsin.  Ray worked at Sundstrand Corp. for 53 years in several positions of machining, tool and gauge.  His hobbies were snowmobile riding and racing, racing his 1966 Olds 442 and tractor pulling his Internal.

He is survived by his wife of 55 years, Ginny; son, Daren (Amy) Breese; grandchild, Aidan Breese; siblings, LeRoy (Greta) Breese of Juda, WI, John (Sandra) Breese of Huntingdon, TN, Kathy Breese of Rockford, Connie Garland of Coahoma, TX, Don (Sonya) Breese of Roscoe, Linda (Gary) Cavin of Machesney Park, and Norma (John) Hess of Rhinelander, WI; and his dog, Roxy.  Predeceased by his parents, Raymond and Jean; and sisters, Carolyn Sue Bratcher and Dorothy Linn.

The funeral for Raymond will be held on Saturday, December 7, 2024, in Honquest Funeral Home-Mulford Chapel, 4311 N. Mulford Rd., Loves Park, IL 61111, at 1:00 PM, with a visitation starting at 12:00 PM until time of service. Burial will immediately follow at Floral Lawn Cemetery in South Beloit, IL. In lieu of flowers, memorials to the family.
