Randy R. Johnson

Randy R. Johnson, 52, of Rockton, passed away Monday, November 13, 2023. He was born on April 15, 1971 to Fred E. And JoAn N. Johnson.  After graduating from Winnebago High School, Randy served in the United States Army. He later worked in the manufacturing business for many years as a Computer Programmer.  Randy had a great sense of humor and a wonderful kind heart. He was always willing to help anyone in need. His hobbies included fishing and working on car projects. His brothers gave him the nickname of “Noose” due to his size when he was young. He was later known as the “Gentle Giant” (he was 6’-5”).

Survivors include his wife, Terri; children, Dalton O. and Dakota Lynn Johnson; parents, Fred E. and JoAn N. Johnson; brothers, Fred III (Nabiha) Johnson, Ricky Johnson, Jeff Johnson, and Keith (Elaine) Johnson; nieces, Sasha, Mia, and Miki; nephews, Brian and Fred IV.

Family will be doing a Celebration of Life at a later date. There are no planned services at this time.
