Randy Darwin Clendening, 61, of South Beloit passed away September 20, 2021. Born May 17, 1960 in Rockford, the son of James Clendening and Augustine (Carey) Keltner. A graduate of Harlem High School Class of 1978. Married Cindy L. Marten on April 25, 1987 in Roscoe. Employed for 37 years by Mondelez until his semi-retirement. Randy enjoyed camping, fishing, bowling, and oldies music especially the Beatles. He was looking forward to starting up a food truck and enjoyed cooking. Randy was an avid Green Bay Packers, Baltimore Orioles and Boston Celtics fan.
Survivors include wife, Cindy L. Clendening; daughter, Rachel Cher’I Clendening; mother, Augustine (Albert) Keltner; father, James (Bev) Clendening; mother and father-in-law, Cheri and Robert Marten; siblings, Jimmy (Sue) Clendening, Glenn Keltner, Tracy Moore, Lance (Laura) Keltner; brother-in-law, Robert (Janet) Marten; several nieces; nephews; goddaughter, Rheanna; great nephews, Gavin and Chase Lewis; and his favorite kitty, Jasper. Predeceased by cousin, best friend and his daughters godfather, Bill Worster.
Memorial visitation will be held from 11:00 am – 2:00 pm Wednesday, September 29, 2021 in Honquest Family Funeral Home with Crematory – Roscoe Chapel, 11342 Main Street, Roscoe. Memorials may be given to the family.
