Pietro Girgenti Obituary

Pietro Girgenti, 72, of Roscoe passed away July 7, 2022. Born April 7, 1950 in Marsala, Sicily, the son of Francesco and Giuseppa (Maggio) Girgenti. Immigrated from Sicily in 1983. Established Pietro’s Pizza in Roscoe in February 1991. Owner of Marsala Wine Vineyards in Sicily. Pietro enjoyed hunting, cooking, working in the family vineyard and going out with friends and family.

Survivors include sister, Lucia (Antonio Stella) Girgenti; nephew, Paolo (Antonella) Stella; niece, Rosalba (Giuseppe) Di Girolamo; and nieces and nephews in Italy. Predeceased by parents.

Memorial visitation will be held from 4:00 PM – 6:00 PM Sunday, July 17, 2022 in Honquest Family Funeral Home with Crematory – Roscoe Chapel, 11342 Main Street, Roscoe.
