Penny Louise Stone

Penny Louise Stone, 74, passed away March 14, 2023.  She was born on July 27, 1948 in Portage, WI to Harley and Annabelle (Hanson) Floeter.  She married Mark Stone in Rockford on November 27, 1970; he predeceased her.  Penny enjoyed her grandkids, gardening, NASCAR and antique shopping.

She is survived by her children, Brian (Kelly) Stone, David (Lorraine Hsu) Stone, Mike (Valerie) Stone and Teresa (Jason) Mallo; grandchildren, Tobin, Desmond, Wesley, Matt, Russel and Nathan Stone, Aidan and Ashton Veroni, Paige (Dylan) DeVries, Devan (Kynan) Obee, Sydnie Smith, Joshua Mallo, Julianna Mallo; great- grandchildren, Braxton and Ainsley Butler, Hendrix and Palmer Rhodes, Arielle DeVries and Millianna Mallo-Martin; brother, Steve (Sharon) Floeter; sister, Lisa Olsen.  Predeceased by her parents; husband, Mark; and brother-in-law, Matt Olsen.

Memorial service will be held at 11:00 AM Thursday, March 23, 2023 in Honquest Family Funeral Home with Crematory - Mulford Chapel, 4311 N. Mulford Road, Loves Park with a visitation from 10:00 AM until time of service. In lieu of flowers, memorials may be made to the family for a memorial through the Rockford Park District.
