Peggy Pringle Obituary

Peggy A Pringle, 83, of Machesney Park passed away on Friday, September 3, 2021, at her home. Peggy was born in Prescott, Arkansas on April 6, 1938, and was the daughter of the late Lester and Nettie (nee Graham) McLelland. Peggy married William Henry Pringle in 1966. They were married 27 years until he passed away on March 4, 1992. She prided herself on being a wife, mother, grandma, and great-grandma. Peggy loved having her grandchildren and the neighborhood kids over.  She loved her cats and old western movies. She was the heart and soul of her family and always looked forward to family gatherings on holidays and special occasions. Her absence will leave a void in all of our hearts.

Peggy’s family would like to send a special thanks to Peggy’s surviving daughter who provided care for Peggy until her passing.

Peggy is loved and will be missed by her children, Kimberly (Geary) Crom, Brenda Johnson, Kathy Konishi (Tommy), John (Marge) Vetter. Her siblings, Lester C. (Spud) McLelland and Louise (Ken) Schnell. Her grandchildren. Joshua (Jessica) Berkowski, Matthew (Sarah) Berkowski, Kelli (Rob) Hurd, Mark Johnson, Rachael Vetter, Jordan Vetter, Travis Vetter, Marty Konishi, Allan (Kathy) Konishi, Angela Kerns, Carolyn Kerns, Ashley (Rick) Alderman. Her great and great-great-grandchildren along with all the children who she lovingly cared for throughout the years.

Peggy is preceded by her husband, William (Henry) Pringle; her sister, Patricia (Patsy) McCorkle; her children, James Vetter and Russell Vetter.

At Peggy’s request she will be cremated, and the celebration of her life will be held on Saturday, October 9, 2021, at 2:00pm at her home in Machesney Park.
