Patrick A. Kearney, Jr.

Patrick “Pat” A. Kearney, Jr., 63, of Rockford, passed away peacefully at home on Tuesday, November 12, 2024. He was born in Marengo, IL on April 8, 1961 to Patrick and Rose Kearney, Sr. He married Julie A. Kearney after being together for 18 years and married for 7 years. He graduated from Marengo High School and was a member of the National Guard. He started driving track alongside his father and worked for multiple companies afterward including Dean Foods, Intrans and Ryder. He was also an EMT for Marengo. He loved his family, friends and pets. He enjoyed Nascar, riding his Harley, scuba diving and was a Chicago Bears fan.

He is survived by his wife, Julie; sister, Elizabeth (Bob) McLaughlin; son, Sean (Sarah Neuman) Kearney; step-children, Samantha (James) Schmidt, Eric, Stephanie and Kara; grandchildren, Austin, Bentley, Harper and Connor; nieces and nephews and many friends.
